This week feels satisfying and chill: I had an interview with a school, hanged out with friends who I haven’t met for a while and went out shopping for groceries and used $700 NTD gift cards 😄 (I got them by using Bing as search engine in case you are curious!)
The trip came to an end. After coming back to Croatia from Bosnia, my partner and I went to Gianni ice cream again. After all, that was our final day in Croatia, how could we not make good use of the time?

The following Itinerary
The trip comes to an end after Croatia: we then headed to Turkey and went home from there. However, we didn’t fly to Taiwan right away but stayed 1 extra night in Istanbul because of cheaper flight. (Of course, I calculated if the saved cost is more than 1 night extra hotel cost 😗)
Tips for Logistic
Buy Dubrovnik Airport Shuttle at the office here. We choose to take shuttle instead of taking Uber because it’s cheaper. (Uber: ~30 euro/one way; Airport Shuttle: ~10 euro/ per person, one way)

If you happen to require staying around Istanbul airport, I’d recommend D Twins Airport Hotel because of its convenient location. Initially, we booked a hotel in Istanbul downtown, thinking about revisiting. However, we were kinda tired then, thinking of taking 1.5 hour train from the airport to downtown and experiencing the hustle and bustle traffic again just made us even more tired. So we canceled the original hotel and booked this one instead.
My experience
1. A hotel that is beyond expectation
D Twins Airport Hotel is close to a metro station bounding to airport (10 minutes walk + 2 stop rides) and also close to a relatively cheap and nice cafe restaurant called Botanic cafe, where you can get decent food during short days. Honestly, at the beginning we thought we wouldn’t be able to find vegetarian food since there are not many restaurants around. It turned out we searched the wrong direction. After checking the opposite way, we found the Botanic cafe, which end up a nice experience.

God! I can’t believe it takes me almost 1 year to write about this whole trip! Last year, December 4th, I wrote Intro about Turkey Greece and more, and now December is approaching! And also, I just calculated how many articles I wrote for this trip, it turned out to be 21! The same as our travel days! I didn’t always allocate content based on daily itinerary, so it’s a coincidence!
